After almost a decade, the re-appearance of Dengue in Argentina caused panic and fears. Unlike Bolivia, Brazil and Paraguay where policies of preventions have been followed, the future of dengue is uncertain for Argentina; this paper does not have any political affiliation but emphasizes the role that mass media play in the coverage of epidemics. The question as to whether a newspaper or mass media corporation should maintain a minimum of objectivity is too complex to be resolved in this short article. International audience; This paper presents the results of an interlaboratory comparison of retrospective dosimetry using the electron paramagnetic resonance method. The test material used in this exercise was glass coming from the touch screens of smart phones that might be used as fortuitous dosimeters in a large-scale radiological incident. There were 13 participants to whom samples were dispatched, and 11 laboratories reported results. Denne artikkelen dreier seg om hva som skjedde da kirker og menigheter byttet kirkerommet med det digitale rom som følge av korona-pandemien. Det ble holdt gudstjenester og til og med «servert» kirkekaffe på nett. Artikkelen bygger på en undersøkelse som viser at 72 % av norske kirker og menigheter produserte nettbaserte samlinger under koronakrisen. 749 kirkeledere i hele Norge har deltatt i den omfattende kartleggingen som fant sted fra 15. april til 10. mai 2020. Moreover, it investigates how this relationship is affected both by the structure and variations in networks and by firm size and age. Levulinic acid is considered one of the most important platform chemicals. It is currently produced mainly from lignocellulosic biomasses. However, there are also other abundant biomass materials, which could be used as raw materials for levulinic acid production. In this work, levulinic acid was produced from two novel biomasses in the presence of Brønsted (H2SO4) and Lewis acid (CrCl3·6H2O or AlCl3·6H2O) catalysts. The studied materials were carbohydrate-rich potato peel waste and sporocarps of the fungus Cortinarius armillatus.
